15 January 2015

Foggia will celebrate the memorial day for 2015, the 70th anniversary of the Shoah ending, on Thursday, January 22nd, with a new premiere, exclusively opened to elementary and middle local students.

“Apulia for the Shoah – a ballad fragment” is a multimedia show promoted and supported by Apulia Regional Government, Municipality of Foggia and other regional municipalities.

The show is about the growing empowerment of German Nazism, the racial laws, the final solution, about living in internment camps. The show gives voice to those who were deported and explains their personal drama in terms of physical degradation and moral and spiritual annihilation; it underlines the deep meaning of their human privation and their untellable pain, and ends with their freedom and their being hosted in Apulia.

Realized by FARM – an agency specialized in communication and cultural projects -, the show to be performed in U. Giordano Theatre is based on a mix among picturesprojection on a screen, live performance on the stage by FabrizioSaccomanno – actor, writer, author and director -, and a video with the participation of the following actors: Michele Placido, CosimoCinieri, Emilio Solfrizi, BrizioMontinaro and RinoCassano, which guarantees a high rhythm and very involving final result, composed by images, words, sounds; RediHasa soundtracks, thanks to the script by Francesco Niccolini, one of the main playwright. The show is soldout.
